A Tier 2 national builder, this business is growing in Victoria. They are professionals in challenging commercial projects and now have a substantial backlog in Victoria. On a complex university project worth $20 million, a Contract Administrator is needed.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to a Senior Contract Administrator you will be responsible for
- Prepare scopes of work and letting sub-contractor packages.
- Assist with preparing monthly cost reports to senior management.
- Assess sub-contractor progress payments and variations.
- Assist the Senior Contract Administrator with any client variations or commercial matters.
- Manage contractual disputes that arise on the project.
Job Requirement
- Managing own portfolio of recruiting assignments via advertised, database or search methodologies
- Candidate management including interviewing, registering and maintaining qualified junior to mid-level candidates
- Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media
- Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of a job in question
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants
- Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
- Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
- Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
- Arranging and facilitating client meetings
