About Company

One of our customers, Alstom, is a leader in the global rail industry and makes a variety of products, including complete trains, subsystems, maintenance services, system integration, and much more. Adecco Position for Electrician, January 2023.

They also produce high-speed trains, commuter/regional trains, light rail vehicles, trams, monorails, and other types of trains. Sustainability and staying current with industry-emerging technologies are issues that they are all worried about.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working on the Assembly Line or in the Electrical Shed
  • Installation and Assembly of looms and electrical cubicles
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
  • Work with our state of the art AOS system for work orders and process improvement
  • To follow all established safety procedures,
  • To report on activities, problem found and measures taken
  • To participate fully in all training courses provided
  • To participate in any cross functional activities as necessary
  • To undertake any other duties as specified by either the shift Leader or the Production Manager & Depot Manager
  • To follow all established safety procedures, good housekeeping practices and utilise safety equipment as required.

Job Requirement

  • Qualified A grade Electrician with a valid license
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in Railway, Marine, Trucks, aerospace, heavy role will be an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good knowledge of EHS/WHS standards
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work in both a team and individual environments
  • Able to obtain and use the necessary information to make decisions
  • Pass a medical, police check and other compliance requirements
