Priceline Pharmacy, a division of Wesfarmers Health, is Australia's biggest retailer of health and cosmetic products. To collaborate with the marketing group at our Melbourne Support Office, a Local Area Marketing (LAM) Manager is required. Position with Priceline as a Local Area Marketing Manager AU JAN 2023
Help from this role is essential for the Senior Manager of Planning. activities involved in creating annual and long-term marketing strategy. As a crucial member of the extended marketing leadership team, brand initiatives that satisfy business KPIs. Building a brand and executing targeted marketing campaigns for the Priceline retail network are the main objectives of local area marketing. New shop openings, in-store promotions, sponsorships, utilising large national campaigns at a local level, and custom marketing initiatives are some of these activities.
They will take on a substantial leadership role within the marketing team as a whole. tasked with the responsibility of growing, coaching, and mentoring both direct and indirect team members. Additionally, they will be in charge of leading the team's positive cultural change and serving as the continual ambassador for our brand and clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of LAM promotions nationally and provide guidance and support to the marketing coordinators when delivering local marketing campaigns including in store promotions, VIP events, special offers, community engagement and other tactical events as briefed by stores
- Deliver an effective rolling 12-month Local Area Marketing program, delivering to business KPIsDrive and manage the Priceline LAM portal development and ensure operational effectiveness
- Oversee the delivery of new/refurbished store openings and local area marketing programsWorks with key franchise groups to deliver targeted LAM campaign support
- Deliver campaign and creative briefs to the internal studio or the external agency
- Develop creative and media recommendations in line with the overall brand marketing strategy
Job Requirement
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing preferably; retail and in a franchised environment
- Experience in executing local area marketing campaigns preferred but not essential
- A high level of understanding of traditional and non-traditional media
- Ability to manage and lead a small team to deliver business objectives
- The ability to work in a flexible and dynamic working environment
- Proven ability to build cross functional business relationships
