Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the long term planning activities of the functions under your direct control or within areas of influence
  • Assist in the planning, preparation and undertake the maintenance of inventories
  • Assist in the encouragement and promotion of culture amongst staff to actively participate and provide input
  • Actively work to improve quality, reduce / contain costs and increase productivity
  • Ensure staff compliance to rules & regulations, policies & procedures. Report on these measures as required
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and improvement of facilities
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company SHE policies. Act as the role model for all matters regarding SHE & promote a safety conscious environment
  • Initiate and follow up on continuous improvement in relation to warehousing & distribution processes. Assist in implementation and change management practices
  • Identify opportunities to optimize process capability between departments, employing lean methodologies
  • Ensure the highest standards of 6S are applied to the work environment and all employees participate in the program
  • Support broader distribution and warehousing objectives, including optimization strategies, offering remote support where capable

Job Requirement

  • Experience working within a similar role
  • Team leader looking for your next step or previous management experience
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
