Job Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the brand marketing team, has responsibility for the development and execution of the mobile divisions social media strategy, to deliver business results and ensure Samsung is seen an innovator and leader in the industry
  • Work with the team to oversee the development and execution of Samsung’s organic content strategy, guiding the team to ensure best practice and to drive advocacy and engagement that builds or social media community
  • Provide strategic counsel regarding paid media tactics, audience targeting and retargeting strategies and work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing and CE product marketing managers to deliver social media objectives
  • Be a trusted advisor and the social media expert for the CE division, managing the development and execution of social media campaigns for CE marketing including overseeing other social media team members and agency partners
  • Coordination and implementation of global and regional social campaigns and assets, working with the relevant teams and agencies to ensure localisation for an Australian audience
  • Report on and analyse data from social channels to determine business impact and to enable ongoing optimisation
  • Maintain strong relationships with social media network partners to stay abreast of first to market beta advertising opportunities and analytic tools
  • Collaborate with and assist other Samsung social teams (within the region and globally) to leverage new content, campaigns, tools, initiatives and activities to drive social media engagement
  • General commercial duties including raising purchase orders, product orders using Samsung processes invoicing and working within agreed budgets
  • Maintain campaign reporting as well as data and insights and share with broader business in a timely and effective manner

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a social media role, preferably in marketing or social agency or within the marketing division of a global brand or large Australian corporation
  • At least 2 years’ experience of managing influencers, working across all levels of influencer management
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns that deliver against marketing objectives
  • Project management and budget management skills
  • Use of quantitative data to inform social strategies and a demonstrated ability to understand insights and data
  • Understanding of digital marketing including SEM, Programmatic and CRM and its integration with social
  • Ability to ideate and deliver creative content ideas, across internal and influencer opportunities, and effectively deliver these to market
  • Knowledge of Social Media Ads, including campaign implementation and analytical operation
  • Knowledge of platform pixel and SDK implementations
  • Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g. Sprinklr
  • A passion for digital technology and digital marketing
