Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining the Safety and Health Management System for Clermont Open Cut
- Providing guidance, support, and assistance to Departments in the implementation of safety systems, procedures, and policies.
- Coordination of site and corporate assurance activities
- Coordinating and undertaking reviews of site compliance as it relates to workplace health and safety against applicable legislation, industry codes of practice and the QLD Coal Mining Safety and Health regulations.
Job Requirements
- Highly organised professional who is enthusiastic, innovative, self-motivated, and driven, who can operate within a dynamic environment with attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously with a varied workload and prioritise work to suit the operational needs of the business
- Detailed knowledge of Coal Mining legislation desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety management systems and industry best practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a health and safety role within mining or other heavy industry will be highly regardedAPPLY NOW
